- Ascedonians (Ass – eh – dough – nee- ans )
- Little is known about the Ascedonians, a possibly mythical superrace. Local legends say that wandering explorers sometimes go into the “Unknown Zone”, and rarely come back. Those that do end up coming back (only ever drifting), come back with virtually useless ships – and tales of close encounters with the super race. They say that the super race uses relatively tiny ships with the power of a humongous Sentiniod battle cruiser.
- Necondras (Nee – con – druhs)
- Necondras have been in space for around four centuries (Ten on their home world). Ever since their first satellite, they have been quickly climbing the ladder to hyper-advancement. It took them two centuries to develop warp – and they are on the verge of worm-drive.
- Sentiniods (Sent- in- ee – odd)
- Sentiniods are about three times further along the road, than Necondras, but no where near the power of the Ascedonians. They developed worm-drive about three centuries ago, and have since started researching new forms of travel. Their non-warp, and non-worm ships, however, are slower then Necon ships of the same class.
- Unariam (Yune – air – ee – an)
- Unarians are slightly ahead of the Sentiniods – They have all the technology, and just a bit more. Their non-warp, and non-worm ships, however, are far faster than both Necon, and Sentiniod ships.
- Humanoid (Hume – an – oyd)
- Humanoids are an extremely new race (To the community), and have only recently developed low speed warp. Before then, they were roaming their inner solar system, using subripples. Their subripple technology is incredibly fast, and beats even Unarian subripple drives. Humanoid subripple technology is this fast due to to the Humanoid closed-minded thinking that subripple technology was the fastest possible travel – for ships within their size. Skeptical scientists recently set out to disprove this taken forgranted fact, and create the first humanoid warp ship. Humanoids are often disregaurded, due to the fact that it took them two millennium from their first satellite to develop travel systems capable of inter-stellar travel.
